In the interest of time, each tractor may only make 2 hooks.
General Rules
1. All pull committee decisions are final.
2. Pull committee, New Lexington FFA and FFA Alumni and the Perry County Agricultural Society, and anyone otherwise associated with the event are not responsible for lost or stolen items or accidents.
3. Protests are to be made to pull committee members by class participants only, before the class starts. Committee members include:

4. Any protests made regarding tires or other issues will be handled by the pull committee. If deemed necessary, class participants may be called upon to review and anonymously vote to determine whether there is a violation of rules or not. If found in violation, the offender may be asked to pull in another class or disqualified from the event. In these cases, majority rules.
5. All actions deemed unsafe or detrimental to the event by the pull committee are grounds for disqualification and/or ban from future events.
6. No alcoholic beverages permitted on grounds.
7. All tractors must run on governors.
8. No nitrous oxide. No compressed fuels unless factory equipped (propane, diesel). Top fuels only: tanks and lines must be removed before pulling.
9. No entry refunds for disqualifications or breakdowns after the tractor has hooked to the sled.
10. It is responsibility of the puller to know in which class the vehicle belongs.
11. All vehicles must weigh out directly before or directly after the pull has been made. If pulling east-bound, weigh in before; if pulling west-bound, weigh out after.
12. All participants under 18 years of age must have a parent or guardian signature.
13. All participants must sign liability waiver at registration.
14. All weights must be secure. If any part of the vehicle falls onto the track disqualification will result.
15. Restart option before 50 feet.
16. We will be using the Cone Speed Limit Rule across all classes this season. A cone will be set near half-track. Pullers will be allowed unlimited horn blows before the cone. Any horn blow at or beyond the cone will result in the disqualification of that pull attempt.
DIVISION 1 (4500 lb., 5500 lb., 6500 lb.)
1. This class is designated for farm tractors.
2. 3 MPH speed limit.
3. 18″ hitch height, hook point to be located minimum of 24″ from the center of the rear axle.
4. Any straight clevis will be measured at the middle of the clevis.
5. Hitch must be stationary in all directions.
6. Maximum size is 15.5/14.9-38.
7. Tire tread may not be altered in any manner.
8. Kill switch and wheelie bars allowed.
9. No electric fuel pumps.
10. Must utilize factory air cleaner.
DIVISION 2 (4500 lb., 5500 lb., 6500 lb.)
1. 4 MPH speed limit
2. 18″ hitch height, hook point to be located minimum of 24″ from the center of the rear axle.
3. Any straight clevis will be measured at the middle of the clevis.
4. Hitch must be stationary in all directions.
5. Maximum tire size is 18.4-38.
6. Top Cut tires allowed, may not alter the leading edge of the tire tread.
7. Kill switch and wheelie bars recommended.
8. Tractor must be naturally aspirated, unless factory equipped.
DIVISION 3 (4500 lb., 5500 lb., 6500 lb.)
1. This class is designed for pulling tractors.
2. 8 MPH speed limit.
3. 20″ hitch height, hook point to be located minimum of 24″ from the center of the rear axle.
4. Hitch must be stationary in all directions.
5. Maximum tire size is 18.4-38.
6. Full cut tires allowed.
7. Kill switch and wheelie bars required.
8. Scatter blankets, steel flywheels and shields highly recommended.
